Men’s Breakfast - March 2023

On Saturday 18th March we hosted another Men’s Breakfast at St John’s attended by 38 members of the congregation and friends with an age range of 17 to 71!

We were treated to a full cooked breakfast and thrilled to have Ade Adebajo come to speak to us – having heard from a number of young entrepreneurs at previous breakfasts it was good to hear from an older Christian speaker.

Ade’s career has been in financial services in the City of London with various well known banks and he currently focuses on development work in sub-Saharan Africa.

Ade worships at Holy Trinity Brompton and spoke with great enthusiasm about the ‘Alpha?’ course and how the course re-ignited his faith. He also spoke about how he lives out his Christian faith in the demanding environment of the City of London and how the bible encourages us to have a heart for the city (Jeremiah 29:7).

It was an excellent morning with many asking when the next breakfast will be.
